I lived in Santa Fe back in the late 80s, never got use to the shades of brown. I came from rolling green hills of Virginia. The siempre mañana (always tomorrow) approach didn't sit well with this east coast get after it girl. But still, I felt the magic and mystery of the place and actually miss it still.
