Tony Stubblebine, Why You Hate Me?
Total loss of enthusiasm for this space ‘cause of you, Coach Tony Stubblebine
I joined as a basic member in 2021 with a $50 annual fee. I made pennies and was okay with that as long as I made the monthly break-even amount of $4.17. My audience/followers grew, I followed folks, enjoyed their writing, and was content. I followed and was accepted as a writer for 57 publications reflecting my eclectic tastes.
I started making dollars, and that was good. I got boosted, and that was great. I won an honorable mention for poetry and was published in Diane Larkin’s cancer fundraising book.
When Friends of Medium was introduced, I did the math and jumped on board right away. I loved that I could help fellow writers make a few dollars more and vice versa.
But you Tony Stubblebine turned all this upside down. Tossed so many of us out like garbage claiming to be purging bad actors and bad writers.
