When I fall into that mental state, I go to one of my baby brother's phrases (he just turned 66) "It is what it is" and a biblical phrase (though not really religious) "This to shall pass" then I literally plant a seed (latest-into micro greens) because the idea that something so small can create food to nourish, beauty to behold, air to breath brings me back to a hopeful reality. BTW my table is covered with seedlings right now--
